Trapped in an alternate reality of the beloved song, Cyborg is hunted by an Evil Dragon that wants to steal the song for its own evil plans. This time around, when Cyborg sings the words of the titular song, the five Titans are transported to a cyber-neo-punk world where they are redesigned in a radical new post-apocalyptic fashion. With the combination of a unique animation style and the hilarious comedy that always follows the Titans, the mini-series plays out western storytelling cliches in an exhilarating adventure. However, the song makes its biggest impact when it transforms the series in the four-part mini-series special The Day the Night Stopped Beginning to Shine and Became Dark Even Though it Was the Day.
